Herefordshire Council is looking to recruit a Building Surveyor to join a professional and passionate team. We have an exciting journey ahead to reinvigorate property across the Council.
The role offers a varied caseload including the identification, design and delivery of property works, reviewing condition surveys and ensuring that operational assets are fit for purpose and comply with statutory health and safety requirements. You will work with a wide team of technical experts to deliver Herefordshire Council's policies and priorities in relation to a diverse and multi-faceted property estate extending to over 1,200 property assets. You will provide professional advice to Herefordshire Council services, external partners and organisations.
We need someone who is highly motivated and have the technical expertise, knowledge and experience to provide high quality advice to the council as well as the ability to think outside the box and provide innovative solutions to technical issues and challenges.
