Are you looking for a challenge? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our high performing Revenues and Benefits team working in a fast paced changing environment as a Systems & Development Officer. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with an aptitude for digital services who will be responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of Council Tax, Business Rates and Housing Benefit system parameters. This includes receiving and resolving system application faults and problems reported by users including liaising with the ICT helpdesk or database administrator. You will also be required to assist in the digital transformations of the Revenues & Benefits service.
The successful candidate will need exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written and should be comfortable in dealing with external providers and businesses alike. As this is a demanding role, you will require excellent organisational, numerical, IT and literacy Skills
You should have experience of working in a team environment but also using your own initiative which is an essential part of this role.
