Senior Assistant Headteacher of Service
FULL-TIME, PERMANENT - LEADERSHIP SCALE: L8 - L12
To start Summer-Term 2025 or ASAP
initially based at St. David’s Centre
HPRS are offering a unique opportunity for a senior leader to work alongside the Head of Service with responsibility of running the St. David’s Centre and supporting Aconbury and H3 as required. This is an exciting time to join HPRS due to the future growth of the service, with the aim of St. David’s and Aconbury coming together on one site to expand the alternative provision offer for the young people of Herefordshire.
Herefordshire Pupil Referral Service (HPRS) provides education to pupils unable to attend mainstream school for various reasons. The service is currently split over three sites located within Hereford – St David’s Centre (KS4), The Aconbury Centre (KS3) and H3 (Hospital, Home, Hub Teaching Team).
HPRS provides a safe, secure and welcoming learning environment in which young people can grow as responsible, independent and self-confident learners. The service benefits from a supportive Management Committee and Senior Leadership Team and a dynamic team of experienced, committed staff.
We actively encourage people who have interest in the role to call and arrange a look around and see all the benefits of working with us at HPRS.
You will be joining a team which works hard to create a positive and caring community that puts children at the heart of everything we do.
