An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join our Passenger Transport Team in the role of Transport Officer for Special Transport.
Special Transport covers a complex range of transport services, providing educational and adult welfare support to schools, and support establishments, throughout Herefordshire and beyond.
Through a network of approximately 50 internal and external staff, and 10 contractors, Special Transport provides a daily service to 400 clients with a diverse range of additional needs.
The role:
You will need to have good communication skills, both verbal & written, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The role involves a busy workload and so you will need to have the ability to efficiently manage time, and prioritise work.
The work involves issues of a sensitive and confidential nature and applicants will need to display a clear understanding of the need for complete confidentiality.
