Hours: 37 plus occasional out-of-hours, nights, and weekends

Hoople are looking for a skilled and dedicated Electrician to lead and oversee high-quality electrical inspection, repair, maintenance, and installation works across a diverse portfolio of properties. This is a hands-on role with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring compliance, safety, and technical excellence in all electrical work carried out by the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Fulfil the role of NICEIC Qualified Supervisor, ensuring all electrical work meets current regulations and standards.
- Supervise and support electricians, ensuring competency and safety.
- Conduct electrical tests and inspections, complete planned preventative maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose faults, estimate repair costs, and carry out remedial works.
- Maintain accurate documentation and inspection reports.
- Provide technical advice on LV and HV systems.
- Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota.
- Contribute toward the output of the team by carrying out general building maintenance tasks within capability if required.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in electrical inspection, testing, repairs and installations in a variety of domestic and commercial buildings.
- Experience as a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor within the last 2 years.
- Strong understanding of current electrical regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varied site conditions.
- Full UK driving licence.
