About the Role:
Hoople Ltd is seeking a reliable, compassionate and motivated Community Equipment Engineer to join our dedicated team. In this key role, you will be responsible for the delivery, installation, repair and collection of community healthcare equipment across clients’ homes in Herefordshire. This equipment supports individuals to live safely and comfortably in their own homes, making your contribution invaluable to the wellbeing of our community.
The position is physically active and involves working both independently and as part of a supportive team. A commitment to excellent customer service is essential, as you will be interacting with service users, carers, and healthcare professionals. Sensitivity, patience and respect are central to this role, as you will often be assisting vulnerable individuals.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver and install community healthcare equipment in service users’ homes

Carry out maintenance, repairs and safety checks on equipment

Collect equipment when no longer required

Ensure accurate record keeping and paperwork completion

Work collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare staff, and clients

Provide friendly, respectful and compassionate support at all times
