Salary: Hoople Band £31,314 - £39,483 per annum

The role
Hoople are looking for someone customer focussed to join our Information Technology application support team.
The successful candidate will be supporting the implementation of a new planning and regulatory services system for Herefordshire Council, supporting the Council’s legacy system during this transition and supporting Hoople’s ICT Service management system.
As part of the team, you will be working alongside customers to understand their requirements to deliver statutory duties and manage public services, support them in the use of corporate business and related software systems, analyse business processes, contribute to better decision making, continual improvement and ensure fitness for purpose of supported systems.
The team manage the configuration of supported systems and their planned developments in line with ICT policies and procedures.
Time is spent working on business-as-usual break/fixes, product enhancements and upgrades in line with team planning, liaising with software suppliers, providing support, advice and consultancy to customers and supporting new projects and initiatives.
The team manage essential technical documentation and provide training to system users.
Understanding of data quality issues is also important. The role involves analysis of data and producing reports.
Knowledge of the customer business areas is an advantage, but not essential.
