The Role

As an Early Help Information and Signposting Officer, you will be attached to the Children Centre Services team which covers the whole of Herefordshire and Children Centre reach areas and therefore would need to be able to travel where necessary. The team are spread out across the centres and there will be times when you are lone working.

About You

You will be responsible for processing data and information for Children Centre services and the 14-19 team. You will also be required to produce documentation and fliers, invoicing, maintaining accurate records, taking occasional minutes and day to day administration of the Children Centre service. You will have back office and front office duties to include answering telephone enquiries, updating the Facebook page and liaising with the public and wider team of professionals that use the centres and services.
You may support collaboration with colleagues and multi-agency partners to engage families in the appropriate services and maintain health and safety procedures.
As an Early Help Information and Signposting Officer, you will have a good knowledge and experience of using Microsoft software packages and a variety of digital platforms.
