Business Support Officer (Home First)
Location: Auxilium House, Legion Way, Hereford
Hours: 37 per Week
Salary: £22,149 per annum

Home first is a fast paced and dynamic service, and the Business Support Officer role is a crucial function within the team. In this role you will be supporting the day to day running of the Urgent Care and Reablement Service.
We are seeking an adaptable individual with a positive and forward thinking “can do” attitude. You will be the first point of contact for anybody making contact with the service and therefore an individual with an empathetic and compassionate attitude is essential for this role.
Administration experience in a similar role would be desirable.
You will be responsible for managing your own workload, therefore the ability to multitask and work to timescales is crucial.
You will be responsible for;
- Answering and appropriately responding to telephone calls from staff, service users and members of the public
- Overseeing staff annual leave and sickness with guidance from managers
- Booking and overseeing staff training with guidance from managers
- Raising purchase orders and monitoring the financial spend of the purchase card
- Maintenance of staff information – keeping personal files in good order and in line with GDPR and confidentiality standards
- Managing your own projects to improve the administration function within the service
- Supporting the recruitment and induction of new starters with management guidance
- Documenting records of conversations/discussion on the council electronic records system.
- Minute taking of all informal and formal meetings
- Any additional administration tasks required by the team
