Job Title: IT Senior Asset Officer

Salary: Hoople Band D £31,314 - £39,483 per annum

Hoople Group are looking for a proactive and experienced IT Senior Asset Manager to lead our Asset Management and Purchasing Team in delivering a professional, customer-focused service. The role is based withing the Hoople Commercial Services Team, reporting to the Commercial Manager, you’ll play a key role in modernising our asset management function, streamlining processes, and driving efficiencies that benefit a multitude of different services within Herefordshire, including Hoople Group, Herefordshire Council, Wye Valley NHS Trust, Herefordshire's GP's and other Hoople clients.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Lead and coordinate the IT Asset Management and Purchasing Team, ensuring efficient service delivery.
• Act as the first point of contact for operational queries and provide day-to-day guidance to team members.
• Modernise asset management practices and implement improvements to enhance service quality.
• Develop and maintain a connected Asset Register for robust reporting and audit readiness.
• Oversee Software Asset Management to ensure licence compliance and cost control.
• Manage purchasing and stockroom operations, including audits, reporting, and supplier engagement.
• Support IT project delivery through coordinated asset planning and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies, including Health and Safety and procurement procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
• Significant experience in purchasing within a highly regulated or public sector environment (ideally within the IT sector)
• Strong leadership and coordination skills
